Welcome to the 2023-2024 School year!  

 

About me... I am a Frost High School Alumni.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1994 with a Major in Elementary Education and a Minor in Mathematics.  I began my teaching career at Italy High School, but my 2nd year of teaching moved me back to my hometown where I have spent most of my career.  I have taught Elementary, Junior High and High School...but my favorite subject to teach has always been math!  I will be teaching Algebra I, Yearbook, and conducting JH/Elementary Math Intervention this year.

I have been married to my husband, Lenny, for 28 years.  We have raised two sons together, Chris and Cade, and we are now blessed with two granddaughters, Harper and Kenzie Jo!  We are also expecting our 1st grandson in February!

I look forward to this year with my students!

Update: Beginning on September 18th, my schedule changed and I acquired some elementary math classes.  I will be teaching 6th Grade Math and providing 5th Grade Intervention for the remainder of the school year.  I look forward to working with these students along with my High School Algebra I class. :)
