Before taking on the role of principal, I worked with special population services at Frost ISD for the last four years. Prior to moving to Frost, I was a classroom teacher for twenty-two years, including fifteen years teaching 1st grade, one year in 2nd, three years in 5th, and three years in 7th. I have a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I'm certified as a Principal as Instructional Leader and a Reading Specialist. Education is my passion, and I'm here because I love it!
I moved to Frost with Coach Fulton because we wanted to return to a small, family-centered community. We are very proud of our son, Baylor, who is a graduate chemistry student at UT Arlington.
I believe learning should be a joyful experience. I envision our school as a safe, supportive environment with high expectations of success for every student. I value partnerships with parents, and I'm excited about the future for our young Polar Bears at Frost Elementary!
