Due to the number of staff who are isolated or quarantined because of COVID-19 exposure, Frost ISD will extend our break through the end of this week and return to school on Monday, January 11th. These three days will not be remote learning days, and they will not need to be made up later in the year. This closure is not the result of widespread infections on campus, but exposure and quarantine numbers beyond what can be covered by substitutes and other staff. Therefore, extra-curricular events that have not already been affected will proceed as scheduled.
Frost ISD is requesting that everyone in our community protect yourselves and others by following the recommendations of health officials to slow the spread of COVID-19. We all want our campuses open for face to face learning, and everyone in our community plays an important role in that effort.
