Here's your friendly reminder, you need to be finishing up your Edgenuity Assignemnts. This is where the remainder of your grades for this six weeks will come from. Many of you have several or all zeros on theses assignments because you haven't done them. On the 16th (Next Tuesday) these will stay zeros. No exceptions, no excuses.

Welcome back everyone! Sorry I'm not there to welcome you in person, all I can say is WEAR YOUR MASKS and wash your hands...Covid is no fun.

Your assignment this week will be to complete a Google slideshow project on a historical topic OF YOUR CHOICE. Yes, that means you can actually chose ANY Historical topic that interests you. The only requirement is getting it approved...we'll get into that in a minute.

As for the slideshow, these are your requirements...
- This is an individual assignment; NO PARTNERS.
-21 slides; including the Title Slide
-Each slide must include
- 1 picture
- 2 paragraphs of information per slide. (3-5 sentences each, written yourself. DO NOT copy and
paste...everyone can tell, you know it's true.)
- Try to put the slides in chronological order (for example, if you were doing a presentation on WWII, you
wouldn't start with the liberation of concentration camps)
-This project MUST be turned in on Friday, so you will need to get busy and use your class time WISELY. No exceptions, no excuses. If you complete 5 slides a day, you'll be done with no problem.
-THIS IS A TEST GRADE & 5 daily Grades (you will have a daily assignment posted here to respond to each day.)

Topic Approval: You will need to respond to this post with your topic. I will respond to you with apporoval ASAP. I will be online during your class periods so I'll be watching the comments. Your grade for today is posting your topic, so don't forget to do so. You need to get started as soon as you get approval.

a. Be sure to answer the following questions:
• Name of Tribe
• What Geographic Region is your tribe from?
• What Culture Region does your tribe belong to?
• Was your tribe nomadic or did they farm? What did they hunt/farm?
• What was your tribe’s typical clothing?
• Did your tribe have any enemies?
• What type of dwellings did your tribe live in?
• Were there any rules for your tribe?
• Any special beliefs?
• Is your tribe still in existence today? If so, what does tribal life look like in the modern world?

2. Tribal Village/Home Replica (30 points)
a. Be sure to include:
• Typical home
• Landscape features from where your tribe would have lived

*PLEASE REMEMBER: This is not supposed to be expensive, but fun! Use elements for your replica found in nature.
