In this lesson you will answer the questions on digital citizenship using a Venn Diagram.

2) MY DIGITAL PLEDGE
You will open the Pledge Doc and answer the questions about Digital Citizenship.

You will find both lessons in the Tech Classroom along with instructions on how to complete them.

Then click on the sticky notes on the whiteboard to open them up and answer the questions for each image.

This week we will have fun completed Fall related activities in the Tech Classroom.

Directions:
Click on the link "Tech Classroom" to get Started.
In the Tech Classroom there will be a variety of activities for you complete throughout the week.

Monday: Watch "Pumpkin Jack" (You will find it on the teacher desk.) Then click on "My Pumpkin Presentation to start on your presentation. You will turn it in on Friday.

You will "Mark Done" for Monday ONLY. The rest of the week you will be clicking the (+) sign in the assignment to add your work, then click "Turn In".

So your ready to play, now what?

I am sending you a Jamboard. On this Jamboard, you will select a slide to post a sticky note with your battle hits. For instance, Rayn calls out C7, then her partner will type an X in that cell on their battle field. The opponent will need to call all the cells located for the ship to "sink" the ship.

YOU CAN EDIT THIS JAMBOARD, SO BE CAREFUL NOT TO REMOVE ANYTHING I HAVE ADDED.

LESSON:
In this lesson, you will create a game using spreadsheets.
Have you ever played a game where you used a grid?
Probably so...for example checkers. Well, in this game, you will be creating a grid to play a game called "Sea Battle". Kind of like, "You Sank My Battleship".

Watch the instructions by logging into Applied Digital Skills. This website gives you the information you need to know to create your assigned board game.

I will share your groups with you on Tuesday.

You are asked to work with a partner, but you may interview family members to find the necessary information to insert into this spreadsheet.

Watch the step by step videos on how to create each step.
Pause the video between each step and "DO" what the video instructs you to do.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

We all make choices every day about the media we consume and create.
For this lesson, you will track your media use throughout the week and fill in the "My Media Choices" below.

You will track your media use starting Wednesday Sept. 3 to Wednesday Sept. 9, then turn in your form.

Watch the Common Sense Media video "My Media Balance" ahead of time for our discussion.

The Common Sense Educational game "Twalkers" helps you to think about some important questions while online.

You have been assigned an account to Typing.com. We will use this site to keep track of our keyboarding practice. This site lets me see what you are working on and how long you spent on the assignment.

Spending time each day practicing our keyboarding skills is very important. Start with choosing your level. (Start with Intermediate) then we will move to the harder levels later on.

The slide below will walk you through the steps to logging in.
