Before we work on our letters and start to write them, we are going to first practice something called strokes. Strokes are the lines that make up letters. Let's say I need to write the letter T. (write it on a piece of paper). What do you notice about the letter T? Yes, it's made up of two lines. The first line goes dowwwwn and the second line goes across. Today we are going to practice writing lines. Have your student draw straight lines down on a piece of paper.
